Backpacks on a Mission: SSUMC addresses food insecurity for children in our neighborhood schools by providing a backpack full of healthy snacks and easily prepared food for the weekend for those in need.

First Hug/Metropolitan Ministries: South Shore UMC supports the Metropolitan Ministries First Hug Program that connects families who’ve graduated their Uplift U® Program with local churches for added support, accountability, and mentoring.
