South Shore Youth Ministry finds its foundation in service. All the fun we have, all the great worship we share, all the meals we eat, everything centers on service and points us in a direction of putting others first. We believe in mission trips because they are a great way to put into practice what we talk about every week. We can put real action behind what we believe and change the lives of others in tangible and exciting ways.
This summer we are partnering with an organization called Led2Serve based out of Lakeland, Fl. They have partners all over the world and we are designing a trip together to head to Live Oak, Fl to help families and an organization there with construction, painting, meals, and much more. No experience is necessary.
Most students head home from mission trips with a new view of the world around them and a heart filled with joy for all the hard work and service we provided as a team to better the Kingdom of God. It will be hard work. It will be long days. It will be life changing. God will do huge things with our group and the many other groups doing missions this summer through Led2Serve.

Dates: August 1st – August 7th
Location: Live Oak, Fl
Cost: $149 ($50 deposit is due before May 26th or the price increases to $179)
Final Payment Due: July 3rd
Cost Includes: Transportation, Lodging, Meals, Construction Supplies, and an Afternoon fun event. Students will need to pay for 3 or 4 fast food meals on the road and any souvenirs or snacks they’d like.
