TODAY IS COMMITMENT SUNDAY

Today we celebrate our congregation’s commitments to strangely warmed prayers, presence, generosity, service and witness in the 2025 ministry year.

Please bring your 2025 estimate of giving commitment pamphilet forward with you during Communion to present before the altar. If you are in need of an estimate of giving commitment card, please check in at the Welcome Center. May God add special blessing on this next step of faith as we are internally strong in faith and externally focused in service.

 

PRAYER FOR THANKSGIVING DAY

How can we thank you enough for all you have given us, Lord? We have so much, more than enough to supply all our needs. Make us mindful of the people, especially the children, whose earthly needs we are called to supply. In deepest gratitude, we offer ourselves back to you, for your service and your will.

In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

2024 SOUTH SHORE ANGEL TREE

The South Shore Angel Tree descended in the Welcome Center! 

Last year our congregation made Christmas wishes come true for dozens of children in need and we hope we can count on your support again this year.  

​

People interested in helping can:

1) adopt an angel card from the tree

2) make a general donation of a gift card to a major retailer to help with gifts or

3) donate a supermarket giftcard to help purchase Christmas dinner. 

All donations will be due back to the church on December 15, with delivery to the schools happening that week. 

​

We are also looking for Angel Assistants to help with card sign outs, gift collection and distribution. If you are interested in helping or have other questions, please email Mark Crouse at bobcats110@yahoo.com.
