This Week @ South Shore UMC

ANNUAL PROTECTION POLICY TRAINING THIS SUNDAY DURING WORSHIP

Our service this Sunday will include a training on SSUMC’s Child/Youth Protection Policy.

We look forward to training our church family on this policy to help ensure the safety of the children and youth our church family serves. Copies of summary training document and SSUMC’s complete Child/Youth Protection Policy are available on the church website.

CAFÉ FAITH’ LENTEN STUDY THIS WEDNESDAY

Café Faith is a Wednesday lunchtime study and fellowship opportunity. We gather via ZOOM link. Join us as we enjoy our meal, enjoy our fellowship, and enjoy time spent in the Word with God. We continue our study using Savior by Rev. Magrey deVega.

Our guiding texts for this week’s discussion are Psalm 51 and Leviticus 16:11-16 as we explore Cleansing Atonement Theory.

Email Pastor Sarah – sarah@southshoreumc.com – to receive the Zoom Link information.

Join us April 4 for Easter Worship on the Front Lawn.

We invite you to bring with you:

Masks to wear so we can gather as safely as possible.

Chairs for seating labeled with your name; if you have an extra, please bring it for a guest!

Non-perishable food donations for our ‘Fill The Box’ Easter Restore Challenge!

Fresh cut flowers to add to our Resurrection Flower Cross.

‘FILL THE BOX’ EASTER RESTORE CHALLENGE

Last week Pastor Sarah set the challenge for our congregation to fill Troop 606’s trailer full of non-perishable food donations for our April ‘Replenish Restore.’ This is an incredible outreach and witness opportunity for our congregation. Spread the word with your friends, neighbors, coworkers, book club, workout group, on your social media, and more! We want to ‘fill the box’ with food and help alleviate the food insecurities experienced by vulnerable members in our local community.

We are accepting your non-perishable food donations at the church now through April 4. Participate with us – and strengthen our congregation’s witness and outreach! –

as we ‘Fill the Box’ with Food for Easter!
