This Week @ South Shore UMC

FIRST SUNDAY CELEBRATION OF HOLY COMMUNION

Our worship services this week will include the celebration of

Holy Communion. If you are worshipping with South Shore UMC virtually, please set your tables with bread/crackers and juice/water for all present with you to join in the celebration of

the sacrament.

COMMUNION TABLE PARAMENT

White or gold cloths are used on the Communion Table as a sign of a special feast day in the church. White and gold are colors of purity and light. In approaching the Communion Table, we remember

that Jesus is the light of the world. At the Communion Table we physically taste the goodness of his grace, represented in the bread and the cup. And we leave the Communion Table carrying his light

into the world.

PLEASE HOLD OUR SSYOUTH IN YOUR PRAYERS DURING THEIR CONFIRMATION STUDIES AND EXPERIENCE
